Key Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Head of Sales - Agri Business to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong customer relationships across agriculture and allied sectors. This role will require a blend of solution-selling, strategic account management, and new business development with a focus on SatSure’s data-driven agri solutions (acreage mapping, yield estimation, in-season crop monitoring, etc).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and deliver on annual sales targets for the Agri Business vertical.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for assigned regions/accounts.
  • Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across agribusinesses (banks, insurers, input companies, traders, equipment providers, government).
  • Drive consultative solution selling by understanding client needs and positioning SatSure’s products effectively.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including partnerships, channels, and new geographies.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles – prospecting, proposal development, negotiations, and closure.
  • Work closely with product and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Track market trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving customer needs to provide inputs to the product roadmap.
  • Represent SatSure at industry events, conferences, and client forums.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the sales team.

Qualifications
  • MBA/PGDM or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field (preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in sales/business development, with at least 4–5 years in agri/agri-tech/agribusiness domains.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network and relationships with decision-makers in the agriculture value chain (banks, insurers, input companies, traders, equipment OEMs).
  • Experience in solution-selling/SaaS/technology-driven products is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional teams.
