ML Research Intern

KaleidEO, a subsidiary of SatSure, is investing to launch its own fleet of earth observation satellites. We are seeking an Image Processing wizard to own and nurture the logical pipeline that delivers the best geospatial images and products.
SatSure is a deep tech, decision Intelligence company that works primarily at the nexus of agriculture, infrastructure, and climate action creating an impact for the other millions, focusing on the developing world. We want to make insights from earth observation data accessible to all.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated ML Research Intern to join our team .Candidates who are passionate about research, machine learning, and have a strong desire to learn and contribute to real-world projects, this is a right opportunity for you.
As ML research Intern, you will work closely with our experienced team of engineers and researchers to develop, implement, and optimize deep learning algorithms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the design and development of computer vision algorithms and models.
- Implement and optimize image processing pipelines for various applications.
- Work with large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity for training and testing purposes.
- Conduct literature reviews and stay abreast of the latest advancements in computer vision research.
- Collaborate in the evaluation and testing of algorithms, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.
- Document research findings, methodologies, and code for future reference.
Qualifications
Must-have:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must have published 1 paper or conference paper presented in a recognized Computer Science or Geospatial conference.
- Should have their own github link.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++.
- Familiarity with computer vision libraries and deep learning frameworks (OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Solid understanding of image processing techniques and computer vision fundamentals.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms is a plus.
- Knowledge of Geospatial Data is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
