Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering Design & Collaboration
- Assist in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams during daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Development & Implementation
- Contribute to building and operating high-performance software platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable code that enhances functionality and improves the user experience.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and low latency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in software development (internships or project experience).
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python or JavaScript (Node.js).
- Basic understanding of RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Familiarity with message queue systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience with web scraping or data ingestion pipelines.
- Exposure to orchestration tools like Airflow or Celery.
- Interest or experience in geospatial applications or satellite data processing.
